I just got some bad news, although not surprising. Seems I officially have Lupus. Doctor will begin treatment on the 28th.
The rain is not stopping.

Raining here. Blah. I ran to the store and did some Valentine's Day shopping for my men. I volunteered to be a judge in the science fair for 7th grade. I figured that way I'll see what will be expected of the boys next year.
I’m sorry that you have lupus lily, but at least you have a diagnosis and can start treatments. A dear woman I knew from childhood till her death, ( she died of old age almost 90 yrs old) had lupus and eliminated some foods from her diet and she lived a active life.
Babysitting my grand boys today, little one decided to mop the bathroom floor and dunked his toy broom in the toilet 🤪
Thanks y'all. I wasn't surprised by the diagnosis. It tends to go hand in hand with RA. It simply means the severity has increased.
I have 2 uncles with it.
Diet and exercise only does so much. Both RA and Lupus are auto immune disorders. It means the body attacks itself because it thinks it is an infection.

I cannot wait for this time tomorrow night when the politicians move on to the next state. The constant phone ringing and traffic tie ups has been so annoying. Bernie has an office in town and all the out of state volunteers were parked all over the fire lanes and such in strip mall. People couldn't even get to the grocery store.
I will be watching the rally tonight going on near me. People camped out starting at noon yesterday.

Sorry to hear, Lily, but it is good that you have a diagnosis and the doctors can get busy with helping you. Not knowing what is wrong is the worst thing. Tends to make the imagination run wild.
It's true. I know God is in control. I have no worries.
