Mine got off to a bit of a nerve wracking start. I got a text from my sister Trudy, saying she got a call from Lifeline saying, no response from Mom.
They sent the squad. When Trudy called my Mom, the squad guy talked to her, and said everything seemed fine, but they took my Mom to the hospital for x-rays, just to make sure.
Turns out, she got dizzy in the bathroom, and slid down the wall. Didn't take a bad fall. Nothing is broken, and CAT scan of her head is fine. But, they did find a bit of pneumonia in
her left lung. So, they are going to start antibiotics, and keep her overnight, for sure.
Mere is flying up Wednesday for a two week visit. The timing couldn't be better.
It will be good for my Mom to have family around for a while.
Oh my goodness FWM, glad your mom didn’t break any bones and were able to treat her for pneumonia before it got worse. Speedy recovery for her and may she enjoy Meres company.
Hope you and your boys enjoy both lunch and movie few.
It's a stat here today. 'BC Family Day'. Doesn't matter to me because i don't work mondays, but confounds my need to go to the bank. That's the only interference in my life though. Well, that and highway traffic. I'n heading out to one of the cities in the Valley to see someone about buying a paddle board. She's selling one that's about 2/3 of the price of a lower end new one, which puts it into my price range. The pictures don't show any damage, but if there is I'll leave it.
FWM, hope things improve for your mother. Getting older is the pits. Good she has Lifeline and that they took action at once to get in touch with your sister.
FWM that was a fright but for the better. Now her issue was detected and can be treated.
Tight I have no balance for those boards else I would be all over them.
Meh - nobody has balance for them until they learn to have balance on them! It can take some falling. But whatever, you just land in water!
Come visit. I'll teach you.
No. You would video it and post it to YouTube. Although people would get a good chuckle watching me continuously falling.
I had a fall last summer that my friend's husband didn't stop laughing about for an entire day. Pretty sure he would still die if I reminded him. He said it was deserving of video.
