The boys won their semi-final game so tomorrow will be the final! It was a close game and at one point they were down by 10. Whew. The other team started getting upset and started intentionally pushing and hitting our boys. We had quite a few intentional technical fouls and scored from them. I yelled for the other team to play nice and you could have heard a pin drop. Ooops.

I know. It wasn't even my kid who was getting hit. It was our star player. He was smart though. He'd get the ball and just hold it and wait for them to foul him. Worked every time. They just couldn't help themselves they were so angry, and played right into it.

My great grandmother was born on the 29th. She always celebrated on the 28th.

So, DD16 (16!) had her 4th birthday on Saturday! We went to Olive Garden for lunch because they were giving Leaplings 4 free desserts to make up for the ones they missed, and a take home meal for $2.29.
Then, we had her Sweet Sixteen party that night. We did a Red Carpet Party, and did it all fancy, and had a DJ for dancing. The kids dressed up all and had a great time. I did sparkling grape juice and they drank like 20 bottles!
Karl, on the other years we do smaller celebrations, usually on the 28th. My thing is she was born on the last day of February, so that's when we celebrate. But when she has a real birthday, we do something big. On her first real birthday when she turned 4, we went to Disneyworld for a week, and on her birthday had 21 people there total to celebrate.
