Good morning! Canceled our flights to see daughter and family 😢, I hope we can still have our family trip in June. I want to see the baby boy while he is still a baby. Nothing planned today, just staying home.

self isolating today. Got 2 new makeup palettes to play with so maybe I'll great creative with my eyes. I have never been able to do good eyeshadow. Maybe there is some sort of online tutorial.

There are tons of online tutorials. 

I think we've had maybe 12 days of no rain so far this year. Not all of those 12 days were sunny, either.

 

Here we are, again. Nothing is going on.

Sitting in the vet's parking lot. Sonny has an annual today. Technician with protective clothing on will be out soon to get Sonny. Humans not allowed.

My cousin's ex wife says the virus can be transmitted on fur so they are taking precautions.

I got my hair done. They will close next week. My mom's salon is closing tomorrow. Both places were sanitized and empty.

I'm grateful I'm capable of cutting my own hair. I haven't paid for a haircut in over a decade.

 But what does it look like?  I can't imagine ever the most talented hair dresser being able to cut their own hair.  Curious.  Plus I am not talented nor would I trust myself to do highlights.

Oh it's not easy by any means. Right now, my hair is very long (to my waist). It's like being a contortionist trying to get it even. lol But, even when I wore it shorter or a spikey cut, I still did it myself. Cutting short hair yourself is way easier. Just need two mirrors, one in front and one in back to see what you're doing. I've never highlighted it but I have colored it myself. I wouldn't try highlighting either. Well, maybe I would if I'd seen it done enough. 

I spent years watching others cut my hair so doing it myself really wasn't a challenge.
