FWM, I kept trying to think of something to do for April Fool's online and came up with zero as well. My brain is just too tired.
It's been a somewhat dreary and chilly day but the sun peeks out occasionally. I have the patio door and kitchen window cracked open. There is a nice cross breeze, although my tootsies are getting a bit chilly. Socks, must find my socks.
I'm not working today and grateful for it. It's a much needed break from the chaos.
Hope everyone has a great day. Off to heat up some leftover pizza.
Watching Bar Rescue. Trying to come up with something good for dinner.
The yard is in desperate need of mowing, but the ground is too muddy.
Happy Wednesday.

The boys were building a house with lincoln logs and a wall from legos. #1 is doing a film to demonstrate erosion. Blue paper will be created into a wave crashing into the wall and pieces of legos will be missing in each frame. Then we'll put boulders in front of the wall to prevent erosion. The family beach house was our inspiration.
This isn't the house but another one in the community and you can see how the boulders are brought in and used to protect the seawall during high tide.

And I ordered my first kit from Madison Reed. Has anyone ever tried it? Since hair salons are going to be closed until at least June, I thought I'd give them a try. I never colored my hair before and I'm quite nervous. But it has to be better than grey roots halfway down my head.

I’ve been tempted to try them. Let us know how it goes.
I added the glaze to the order along with the little turn key that helps squeeze every little bit, and an extra tube since I have a lot of hair and I know my hairdressers always have to mix up a second batch. It wasn't cheap, ringing in around $75 in all, but still cheaper than what I pay in the salon. If I like it, it would be cheaper next time as I wouldn't have to buy as much.

I've never used Madison Reed.
I've always used store bought color, and did it myself.
It's easy.

Good afternoon! Youngest grandbaby was sick, just 4 weeks old and already has a double ear infection and a small case of pneumonia, thankfully the antibiotics are working and the doctor was pleased with how well she responded. She is sleeping better and eating good. I kept the boys yesterday and today, took them out to get ice cream and they got to eat it in the car.
Thank you, felt so bad for her, so little and you could tell she was miserable,I felt like crying 😢 She is much better today. I know we are supposed to keep separate, but you can’t always.
Poor baby! And poor parents! Glad she's doing better.
