UPDATE: Dad found someone to bring him shopping early this morning during the senior shopping so he is good right now. I am so relieved for that miracle. But I have to say thank you to former co worker and Chef for putting me in touch with other people in Arizona that are willing to help Dad. It's been a roller coaster ride but the outreach from people I barley know or do not know has been tremendous.
OP: Trying to send a grocery order to my elderly father in AZ. Put the order in on Sunday and paid for it. No delivery yet. I keep calling, on hold for hours each day; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I get the deliveries are overwhelmed BUT do NOT accept orders if you cannot deliver.
My father is 89 should not be driving or be around people. Please let's prioritize or at the very least tell me it will not be delivered.
I am overwhelmed by the response from people I barely know and those I do not that reached out to help. I end the day very much less stressed over Dad's situation.

Glad your dad is taken care of, and you are no longer worrying about this particular problem.

You're welcome! Let me know if he needs anything specific. I'm out and about somewhat frequently tracking down stuff we or our families need and can keep a lookout for stuff for him too. TP, paper towels, tissues, and a lot of cleaning supplies are rare finds but food is starting to be in stock regularly. I live at Walmart so I know their stock the best.
