We went for a drive and to the church to pick up palms. They had their Palm Sunday Mass live on FB and left blessed palms in the Narthex. Then we drove around town to see the closed businesses. It was sad but also nice just to get out. The boys said it felt weird being in the car. This is a time they will never forget.
The boys are studying erosion and solutions. #1 made a stop motion video on it, using his Lincoln logs and legos, and #2 wrote a comic book, drawing pictures with narratives. They turned out really good and they just finished presenting them to the class. I'm really happy with the education they are continuing to receive.
Dare I say I am looking forward to the predicted peak? It gives me hope this nightmare will be over soon. My state has had 600 confirmed cases, 9 deaths.

Good morning! I can’t wait till things are back to normal, it is sad seeing businesses closed down, my oldest granddaughter wants to get a diary and write down her experiences of being a child growing up during the pandemic, she was inspired by Anne Frank, of course hers experience isn’t even close to Anne’s, but she is growing a love for reading and history just like her mother.
I will be back to babysitting regular next week with a new addition, I will have a 4 yr old, a almost 2 yr old and a infant. I hope I survive:). Dil, will be in her own office away from everyone so she won’t have to much contact.
Today is no different than it was this time last year for me. Other than everyone being here constantly, it's the same day, different verse.
I will say this whole thing has made me more sure I want a place out away from everyone and everything.

Haven't seen today's numbers, yesterday the deaths in my state were over 1000. Thankfully, only 1 death in my county due to covid-19.
Our shelter in place order has been lengthened to 8 weeks.

697 in my area and 2 deaths. 1002 with 22 deaths in DC, which is about 20 minutes from me. But I'm assuming not all the deaths are attributable to COVID19.
I think, and this is my opinion, if the number of recoveries were reported, it'd make the SIP orders harder to enforce.
I think it's important for people to understand that those who are recovered, are facing a lifetime of lung problems.

Our city council just unanimously voted a SIP order. The governor has not ordered this and neither has the county. It really isn’t enforceable, you can get a citation. What’s the point?
Another governor press conference at 4, maybe he will have a change of heart. We are one of only 5 states with no SiP in effect.

I did check the lung damage out, obviously it could happen to a healthy person, but those most susceptible to lung damage is people who have already damaged lungs, asthma, smokers, not just cigarettes but pot and vapers. They recommend quitting smoking anything altogether.

I haven’t officially cancelled my reservation because the SIP order in Georgia only goes till the end of the month. (I think) Ga governor is trying to reopen the beaches but the Tybee mayor said she will fight it. All the amenities at my rental are closed so we would just be able to sit on the balcony.

Our Governor was on TV last night talking about staying put for 8 weeks.
I think he will change his tune on the beaches real soon.

to chemo location and back to
