I'm up stupidly early for an online training. Bonus to the pandemic? Trainings that are usually super expensive + travel and all, are being offered online for way cheaper. Downside? They're generally coming from further east so are scheduled at normal times for east coasters. West coasters just make a lot of coffee. And make sure that it's a day off so that going back to bed is an option.

DirecTV. Our "Genie" is not working
properly, and DH can't record his
shows. Love, love, love that Genie.
It makes it possible to skip through
all the commercials. Our time slot
is anywhere from 8:00 to 12:00.

FWM, how is your Mom doing?

A dreary start to the day here. No rain yet but it's supposedly on the way. I really hope Summer isn't as wet as winter an spring. Supposed to meet a friend for coffee later. We'll grab a cup at DD or someplace and sit our car or come back here.

I hope you get your Genie fixed, Momala. I was watching a show through Roku on Fox through xfinity and right in the middle, the whole thing went down. Now it's asking me to signin and every time I do, it tells me it's invalid! UGH! Sometimes I hate technology. lol

I donned a makeshift mask and went to Trader Joe's. Should I be offended they let me in during the senior hour?

My father was there as well. There was a line to get in. They are only allowing 30 people in the store at one time. They wipe down the cart and roll it to you when it's your turn to go in. There was plenty of everything, except I didn't see any hot dogs. They had TP, lots of it. I only saw one person not wearing a mask. Mine fell off as I was leaving but I didn't worry about it.

My parents waited for me in the parking lot so we could visit for a bit. I had ice cream so I couldn't stay too long. This was my time in a store since 3/12. It felt good to get out.

internet, and found that oil
had dropped to $14.50 per
barrel! And that they are
running out of space to store
the oil that they already have.
That's really going to hurt the
oil industry.

Yes, they have stopped producing. We are buying some of it, to store. But with everything shut down, not many cars on the road. Time to fill those tanks!

Our store is allowing . . . wait for it . . . a whopping 510 people in at one time! WTH is that about. Not that we ever see that many at one time anyway but still. How the hell is that protecting anyone. lol

My dogs are driving me nuts. It's rained for about three weeks straight here and my yards are muddy hellholes. I wish it would dry so the dogs and kids could go outside.

It's the little things - I just ordered a new phone, available for pick up in an hour at Best Buy. It has QUADRUPLE the storage I have now, bigger battery, bestest ever camera, and double the RAM, and a stylus! I'm too excited about this. But, my new SIM card to convert it to my carrier won't be here until Thursday!!!!

I'm waiting on Mike DeWine, to lift the quarantine rules, in the state of Ohio.

I can't spend 14 days in a hotel, before spending time with my Mom.

It would just make my trip, too freaking long. cry

Fingers crossed, that travel between the states, will get a bit easier, soon!

Yeah it will shoot up as states open up. Buy futures now if you want, a bit risky though.
