I’m a little tired still, taking care of 3 grandchildren now, the baby is a sweetheart, 4 year old is getting more independent and then there is the almost two year old who is living up to the terrible twos, but he still makes me laugh. They do keep me young, or older depends on what day :). Beautiful day here, may go for a drive
Pool opened yesterday and it looks like it needs to be drained a bit. We got an inch of rain last night.
The governor is scheduled to give a briefing at 2 so I hope he has news of reopening. We'll see. The numbers for the week ending the 19th were lower than the 12th, but then a day or so they were raised so they were higher than the 12th. Weird. And at his press conference on Monday he predicted this would be the peak week and the numbers would start to go down next week. Amazing, not just his clairvoyance, but then the 14 day guidelines would fall right at the date he extended the stay at home order through. When the numbers for the week ending the 19th were pointed out to him that they were lower than the 12th, and asked if the clock shouldn't already be started, he hemmed and hawed and said he believed they are flattening but won't come down until next week.
Curve is flattening and quite frankly new cases being reported are cases that already existed, we just had more testing going on. I am on board with a cautious reopening of businesses.

We are going to cautiously start doing surgery next week. At our ASC next door. Patients are tested for covid 3 days prior to surgery. Then they have to self quarantine. I think our CEO is doing a great job for not giving in and allowing the docs to go nuts booking cases.

We had some excitement. My toilet flooded. Caitlyn flushed it and the fill valve broke. It's been needing repair for a while.

Our governor says it's rising but flattening, meaning the rise is slower and he thinks peaked today. I think he should patent his crystal ball. Anyway, it looks like early May. Our office is on telework until end of May now, which was extended a couple weeks. Flexibility will be permitted for us old folk and those with children at home or elderly living with them.

All the trends reflect downward for VA. you may have small peaks but definitely going down.

Did she turn off the shut off? replacing toilet parts is easy. I've done so many times.
Well, she tried the one directly to the toilet, but it was rusted. So Jesse ran and turned it off at the road.
Dad was able to turn off just that toilet with a wrench.
Dad just got back from getting the part.
It'll take 20 minutes to fix it.
Dad did this stuff as a side gig for years. We all know how to do this kind of thing.

Eh DD would cry when we ran into her father say at the grocery store or during visitation. It was out of her routine. babies and toddlers need routine or they get upset.
