Bank, Lowe's to get fertilizer and then spread it. I decided to get rid of tru green. My lawn is looking bad the past couple of years. Before I started with them my grass was like a think carpet. Same thing happened at another house I had. I think the fertilizers they use run their course and then don't work after a few years. I don't know. But I have time now to do it myself.
Definitely will be doing a walk later with the dog. Supposed to be a nice day. I can feel the pollen already.

It's a cool 70, windy and cloudy, but I've opened a couple windows. The fresh air is wonderful, and the sound of all the birds singing is so nice. In a few weeks it'll be noisy across the road again.
Doing some light housework, and watching Pirates of Caribbean.
Happy Saturday.

My parents stopped by and we stayed in the backyard and visited. It was nice to see them. DH is on a BJ's run. I have bread dough rising. The boys went through my last loaf already. The yeast I have expired in January but seems to still work. Can't get any in the stores. I ordered a couple quart sized jars so I can make a sourdough starter.
Today is the big gender reveal day. I have to go pick up my SS and head out to my daughters to find out. SHE found out yesterday and won't tell me!

Looked at the weather, it's supposed to only be in the 50s tomorrow.
I'm really over the cold.

A horrific Norther blew through
last night around 10:00 - winds
over 50 MPH - all my shrubs
were bent over, flat on the ground.
Checked this morning - thankfully
no shingles on the lawn.
DH checked on his garden - found
two teeny tiny watermelons - one
about 2" long and the other 4".
Spread the weed killer and fertilizer, need to get another bag. I place the dogwoods where I think I want them but thinking about the placement. Right after taking the dog for a walk, his BFF showed up and they played in the front yard. Fun, he is now napping upside down.

So the guy across the street cut down a tree in his front yard about two years ago. Well partially cut it down. He left about 10 feet of the trunk. He’s made several concrete blocks out of 5 gallon buckets and placed them around the stump. Today he pulled all the bark off and sanded it. And now he just painted it white.
Well, no yeast, no flour, no TP, and no lemon pepper seasoning at BJ's. Only a couple packs of pork chops and DH snagged one. And one pack of steaks. Limit was two meat packs per customer. I just ordered some wheat berries from the bulk grain store, JIC things get really bad I can grind my own flour.
We are stocked up and rotating. I'll go to the store this coming Friday and fill in spots.
The sun is peeking through the clouds.
