Not sure when our governor will speak again, but I suspect that he will extend for two weeks because he's gotten away with it several times already. Last week he said our numbers were rising when they were coming down. Then a day later the numbers for previous weeks were changed to back his claim. I don't trust him.

I had my first COVID dream last night. It was post COVID, when restaurants were opening up. I was meeting some English friends at Ruth's Chris and they weren't distancing and the restaurant was mad because they said they could be shut down if we all didn't space ourselves across the room.

So young Mittens needs a nail trim. Vet is closed. No help. I find a cat groomer. Seems sweet, good phonecalls. Asks me to put Mittens in the bathroom. She'll be over. Well, she arrives. Goes in. Mittens went crazy! Thrashing the shower curtain, breaking the soap holders. A royal mess!!

the nails did not get clipped. Ugh.

Hopefully, everyone will be able to start getting out more soon. If people keep a safe distance in public, it should be fine.

I, for one, am ready for everyone to go back to work. Monster is too.

Baby Jewel got a walker yesterday. She's loving being mobile.

You know what's hard to find these days? A simple, beige, slip. I need one for a dress I bought, but I can't find one. Found one for $30, but it has a lot of lace.

I'm not sure it's true here in Virginia. I didn't hear him mention it in the briefing and the last I heard ban was extended through May 5.

I just cut all my hair off again. I had been letting it grow, but it was getting on my nerves. It was getting hard to take care of again, too. So. Caitlyn cut it off for me. It's about 5/8 inch all over. It feels so much better.

I have Spanx pantyhose. They have a built in shaper. PIA getting them on and off. I'd rather my pouch jiggle.

Remember going in person to get fitted for a bra? A properly fitting bra makes all the difference. I miss those days.

The last time I bought a full slip it was from target. I’ve also seen them in the Hanes outlet store. Most of the time I wear a flesh colored cami and just make a half slip to wear with it. Half slips are quick and easy to sew.

I wear a slip under my dress still, you don’t have to worry about your legs and underwear showing underneath the dress and the dress hangs better

Nice day here today. Just got back from the barber. Limiting the number of customers who can enter at one time.

Here is a picture of some peonys that are in our garden. Need something other than corona news..

"Stronger Together" was last night. Check out this amazing Cirque de Soleil moment. The little girl on the left kills me. I didn't realize (till the like, 8th watch) that the little girl is touching nothing but her mother in that first one. And then at the end, the mom is totally holding her balance even though that kid is fully shaking that stand.

Those are beautiful! We had those at the house I grew up at. Ours were bright pink. I love peonies.

Back in NJ, I had white, light pink,
deep pink and almost red peonies
along the side of the driveway.

The only thing was, I had to check
very carefully for ants before I cut
any to bring inside the house. Ants
LOVE peonies.

I had a co-worker who used to bring his peonies in to us women for our desks every year. He had an abundance!
