I refuse to go to a restaurant on Mother's day. But I kinda want to do something fun.

HAHA @ Covid 8. The boys had me watch Dude Perfect with them last night where they had the "covid19 stereotypes" video. It was hilarious. They had the Covid 15.

 The dog's weight is being reduced as well, not that he has anything to lose.  But it seems silly to go for a walk without the dog so he is taken hostage to go out.  He doesn't mind the first two but after that, well he is like Really?

I never, ever, go to a restaurant on
Mother's Day (or Valentine's Day).
The restaurants are mobbed, the
servers are overwhelmed, and the
food typically isn't up to the
restaurant's general standards.

I plan to get a leg of lamb, roast it
medium rare, and serve it with
steamed broccoli and acorn squash,
along with several glasses of rose
wine from Portugal. DH may turn
his nose up at it, but hey! I'll cook
whatever he wants on Father's Day
(and his birthday, which is the week
before).

We usually go to the club. They host a nice buffet. If it's a nice day I'll have something on the patio and invite my parents. I figure we can social distance outside. Well, we could inside, too, but my dining room table is covered with books and school supplies.

We never go out on Mother's Day. Too crazy. My go to is Ribeye's on the grill.
