Good Morning. Gorgeous weather here. Having fun getting the deck decorated. Potted plants went out yesterday as did my humming bird feeder. The picture is of a glass birdbath on a plant stand.

Sonny says no! That's my fancy water bowl! LOL!
I am hoping I placed it far enough away from the spots he typically enjoys on the deck. But yeah, the thought he might take it down crossed my mind.

I'm not taking the office  It's just too close to the DTES. If it was 1 block west I would have signed on the spot. But I drove by a few times (morning, after dark, whatever) and it was just barrrely a safe neighbourhood. Barely isn't good enough.
It was so wonderful to be back in church this morning. Everyone kept their distance, greeters and ushers wore masks and gloves. My heart has ached to be back in church.
I need new curtains. Or blinds, or something. So I'm going to see if I can find something in a bit.
It's gorgeous outside. 82, the real feel is 87. Lots of sun, bright blue skies, low humidity.
Happy Sunday.

I must have missed the backstory. Why are you moving your office.

I've been office-sharing for years. Renting a few days a week from someone else. I want my own space. At this point, with the amount of days I'm renting it is actually more cost effective to get my own place.
DH and I just got treated to a fabulous
dinner from The Pig Stand in San Antonio.
Approaching their 100th anniversary,we're
doing everything we can to keep it going
until they can open with more than 25%
capacity. If you have any family/friends in
the San Antonio area, please encourage
them to do a drive through or dine-in.
They serve the absolutely BEST onion
rings I've ever had. 1508 Broadway,
San Antonio.
The owner/manager is DH's niece, and
this is her only income. Thanks.
My mom's hairdresser is without a job. The shop where she worked is closed up for good. They went bankrupt. Sign is down and everything cleared out. So she went to my mom's house and cut her hair, DH's and #1's hair in the garage. We all wore masks. #2 wants to grow his out a bit more. We paid her well. Poor thing. I talked to her about going mobile. There are people who will do that back here. Nursing homes, day care centers, etc. The local police have been going to a gal who does it in her basement. She doesn't charge, she has a tip jar out. She makes more now than she did at her shop she may not go back! She calls it teleworking.
So we spent the day at mom's playing pool, watching movies. It felt normal.
I desperately need a haircut. My sister called and said my parents are in bad shape so after I have eye surgery and self quarantine for two weeks the kids and I are going to go visit them.

When it rains, it pours. My friend's son has been diagnosed with a large (orange sized) brain tumor. They are only allowing 1 parent in the hospital at a time so the other has to stay in a hotel room near the hospital. Today is surgery day, so I think they can both be there.
Good luck with the office hunt, Tig.
Good luck with the surgery, hope your parents will be ok, NJN.
That's sad about the hair dresser, FNW. Another market that is rarely missed is the second and third shift workers.
We have some pretty severe weather moving over us. O4 is getting it, too.
Finally trimmed my nails.

I saw people talking about something called beauty fund. It’s an organization giving money to hairdressers, etc. It’s a one time thing but it’s $1,000.
