It's sunny here. I am running the sprinklers. Haven't had rain in a few days. Well, not enough anyway. I'll be doing some gardening and relax in the pool.
We have a 90% chance of rain this morning. Thank goodness it's still social distancing on the bus - I don't have to stand with an umbrella. Downside is parking. There is a parkade where I work, but last time it was posted as 10pm closing but when I went at 7 it was locked and I couldn't get my car out. Had to beg to have a resident of a secure building let me down into resident parking. (not such a secure building, apparently)
Monster is on his way home from the groomer. Can't wait to see him.
Our weather is pretty typical right now. Depends on where you are in the yard if you are in sun or shadow.
Still not 100%, but better. Kept dreaming last night that I was badly dehydrated and needing iv fluids.
Happy Saturday.

Dreamed I couldn't find my bike. In any of the places I went. Including my aunt's house on top of a dirt mountain. I don't have a bike, go to the places I went or have an aunt who lives on top of a dirt mountain,
Cate will love that. Do you plan on anchoring the posts in cement or not like my parents didn't do. We got the swings going so high that the entire structure would rock. So not safe but fun for daredevils.

Not planning to anchor in cement, at this point. She's only turning three, and not heavy enough to get it rocking.
My sisters and I did the same thing, IKWTDS! We loved our swing set!
FWM, there are tie downs for swing sets. A 3yeard old swinging can rock one. The tie downs are like tent ancors.

I think it comes with some stakes, to anchor it, Lily.
Great! They work well.
Of course, after a good rain, if someone will go out and kind of hang from it over the legs, they bury up a bit. That makes it more stable, too.

We bought a swing set for the daycare kids. The toddlers have learned to scale the slide. One of the toddlers loves to swing. He always falls asleep in the swing.
I just got a home security system sales person at my door. She asked me to please put my dogs away as they were trying to go after her and they were so loud I couldn't hear her sales pitch. Guess I don't need a home security system.

My kids loved their swing set, I'm looking for a good one for Jewel, now. I want one that will grow with her, but I do not want wood. All I can think about is splinters with wood sets.
Lindley, I'm glad you got to go out. It is nice to do normal things again.
We had Subway. It was good. And I don't have a kitchen to clean up.
I have slept a lot in the last 2 days, but I'm still worn out. It's harder to get over things than it used to be.

With our hilly backyard, we could not put in a swing set. But their preschool was next door to our development, so we would just take them there to play. The old lady who owned it at the time said we were welcome to use it any time, and even told me where the spare key was left should we need to use the restroom or if our power went out (she had a back up generator) and need to hide out. It was on a farm so there was always someone popping in to feed the animals.
