Killer allergies. My whole body itches and now my sinuses and my breathing are getting involved. I have two sofas to look at today and I'm out of dog food, but this would generally be a 'not leaving the house because nature will make everything significantly worse' day.
It's an overcast dreary start to the day here. We had significant rain yesterday but none expected today or tomorrow. YAY for that! Temps remain cooler.
Our complex rented to a couple (at least I think there's a man (husband or BF) living there) with two pre-teen daughters (maybe 8 and ten) who are out running around the parking lot riding all sorts of bikes, scooters, etc. screaming, swinging large sticks around hitting vehicles, kicking balls around hitting vehicles, etc. UGH! I have told them three times to get away from my vehicle as they try to open the doors and put their hands all over it. They've already scratched two vehicles. I've warned them this is the last time I'm going to say anything and that the police will be called next. Since they've moved in, we've also had vandalism to our dumpsters and graffiti on one of the buildings by the dumpster. Unfortunately, there are no cameras on the property. We've also had damage to the laundry room as these kids are constantly running through that building. Traffic coming through the property has to repeatedly stop to avoid them and their belongings left in the middle of the parking lot. It's super frustrating to hear that constant screaming that little girls do. lol The youngest one spent two hours running around the property barking like a dog with no interruptions at all.
I have some plans with a couple of friends today. One lives out in the country and has invited me and another to come out for burgers, etc. That will be my day. Looking forward to it.
Didn't get to church this morning, couldn't get woke up.
Watching HGTV, waiting for more rain.
Happy Sunday.

If you guys are needing cool masks, check this guy out! He's an up and coming men's wear designer who is doing 'designer' masks. You can even order a 'Jeff's Choice' and get a random one.
About $5 cheaper in USD, so a deal for you guys! Also check out the socks.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend.
Sounds like a "I don't know where the parents are these kids might be alone" call to the police. Just to get their attention. And complain complain complain to the complex (I'm assuming co-op or strata?). The co-op where my friend lives fines tenants for that bs.

No, the parents, or at least the mother, is home; just not paying attention or not caring. These kids have been really disruptive to the peace and quiet the complex normally enjoys. It's mostly an elderly complex but because it contains two-bedroom units, it's also considered a family complex. Many of us have complained to the property manager who does nothing and has been heard saying how much he hates people and women in particular. lol He does nothing but the required paperwork necessary to rent here. He's only on the premises two days a week and locks himself in the office and refuses to answer the phone or return calls. He's been reported numerous times to his superiors who clearly do nothing. It's just an eff'd up situation for sure. Many of us have even contact HUD, who funds this place. Maybe my next move will be to contact my local state reps.
Ugh, I hate hate hate destructive kids. They are the worst.

I'd go out with my hair in rollers, crazy make up, in a ratty robe and yell at them.
Or call the police any time they are out being disruptive.

When ALL of the local TV stations
are preempting all shows to give
you more than an hour of weather
forecasts, you KNOW that you are
in for some severe weather.
Straight line winds over 60 mph
are projected for us in the next
45 minutes, and the weather men
are urging everyone to shelter in
an interior room. No tornadoes
are forecast, but straight line
winds can wreak just as much
havoc. All of our porch furniture
is zip-tied down, and both cars
are under the carport.
Both bathtubs are filled with cold
water, in case the water company
goes off line, so we can flush as
necessary.
We're in good shape. And I'm so
glad that we had a professional
roofer fix the missing shingles on
our rental unit, so that if there is
any damage, we can show the
insurance company that it was
well maintained before the storm.

Also, when our water was going to get turned off (when we got a new line put in) I put water in crockpots so that I would have hot water to wash hands with or dishes.
Sorry, its been a down day, the chemo is really kicking my butt.
Lots of wind, and 2.5 inches of rain, but thankfully no damage.
More of the same is expected this evening, and for the next couple of days.
I did not know you were in chemo. I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure that sounds lame but I do hope you get to feeling better.

I remember my granny chewing on ginger while doing chemo. She said it helped settle her stomach. Now, I couldn't because ginger is so strong, but there are tablets.
As for the fatigue, just take it one day at a time, keep a check on you iron, and remember folic acid helps you body absorb iron.
Prenatal vitamins with iron will help.

DH's watermelons should be
ready for sale in about three
weeks, so I'll have an unlimited
supply!
I LOVE ginger, especially in
ginger ice cream (Japanese).
I've found a ginger beer, with
a completely different taste
than ginger ale. And it's no
calorie!
Try it, but the fizz could stir up stomach acid. Just something to think about.
