I mean, there are some awful Repos, i get that.  But, WHY would anyone support a party that wants to tell you what you can eat, drink, how much heat, ac, fuel you can use.  What kind of car or lightbulb you should buy?  What kind of bag you can use for groceries.  That you cannot have a drink with a straw in it?  That now you cannot go to work.  You can't hug your friends.  You have to be housebound, etc.  I know that in some states you didn't lock down in the same way.  But, look at the party that is LOVING squashing Americans.  Is that the America you want?  Food shortages , unemployment, control of your movements?  Wow

I don't get it either. They think they are being taken care of. When they are actually being taken.

And what food shortages are you having? The only ones we've seen up here are as a result of hoarding. And then they're only temporary until the next truck shows up.

Seriously?  You have Bloomberg in NY trying to ban large sodas.  Sheesh.  Read the news.

Meat, especially beef.  They've shut down the meat processing plants, so there is definitely a meat shortage, and what you CAN find, it crazy expensive...

China owns Smithfield. I mean, how is someone missing the hogs that have been slaughtered, the milk and potatoes that have been dumped and on and on? And, yes, when i shop I am seeing big gaps on the shelves that used to be filled. We couldn't get toilet paper or yeast or flour. The price of beef skyrocketed. I am amazed at the people who just stand there and say "oh gee i don't see anything". Wow

I mean, the Dems today are not the Dems of the 60's. They didn't like govt control over their lives. I don't get it.

And that is so apparent with the job market. There are a lot of jobs out there including businesses re opening bit many don't want to go back yet since the federal UE is so lucrative. Come august there will be a lot of dumbasses scrambling to find a job.

New York has been trying to do that in 2013.  I stopped reading about it then.

Any of that here is because of hoarding.  There's no shortage, it's just that people are hoarding it faster than the next trucks can get there.  It's just *******s.  We've not seen a price jump.

So all of those food processors having problems was just a figment of the imagination?  Oh ok.  You really live in liberal La La Land

Nope, lots of them are having problems.  It hasn't resulted in a 'food shortage'.  And if the problems are related to C19 how are your dems to blame?

Possibly Canada isn’t having problems with their slaughter houses like we are in the states.

As far as I can tell, we are, but production has kept up.  Maybe we have more producers?  How are producer problems a dem-caused issue?

Maybe we just have less hoarding! Although we did have the tp issue. That wasn't a shortage though. That was @sshoes. They also took all the diet coke at one point. I don't think that there was a pop shortage. I had to drink pepsi. :(

Pepsi is way better.  Pepsi throwback without corn syrup.

Here, in the middle of cattle
country, we are limited to five
packages of meat - beef, pork,
poultry. And this is caused by
a lack of packing plant supply.
The farmers are having to
euthanize hogs, turkeys, pigs,
cattle, chickens because they
have no where to send them.
The packing plants that are
open are working as fast as
they can, but they are being
overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
The same is true with vegetables.
Nature can't be put on hold.
When tomatoes are ripe, they
must be harvested, or left to
rot in the fields.

I'm wondering what the next
"shortage" will be? Bar soap?
Laundry detergent? Pet food?
Fish and seafood?

Not here.  Plants a closed by the thousands.

The dem run states are the ones that have the most stringent SIP orders.  Red states are back open, blue states still won't let their people go back to work.  100% a dem-created issue...

Perhaps they are not Chinese owned.  Huge difference.

Our local farms are keeping up and not allowing people to hoard the meat,  So the better quality is available.  A wee bit more pricey but the stock is there.  I never bought meat in a grocery store anyway, usually the bottom of the barrel quality.

I’ve heard that the Democrat governors are wanting federal funds and are deliberately hurting their state’s economy to get the money.  I hope they’re wrong

They are not wrong.  It is exactly what is happening. Same thing with how suddenly in the past 3 months no one has died from anything but COVID.  Every death in blue states is labeled has COVID since that means more money.
