I read some sort of propaganda thing about taking back the 'arrest and jail' and using the funding to increase social services so that the role of the police changes. That's all well and good, but it's missing a VERY big part of the picture....

The sad part of all of this is that antifa and the like were the ones who swept in and got the locals all riled up, paying them to throw bricks, etc. The locals were used by the extremists who wanted to destroy and injure. Sure, no one forced them to go in and steal, that's on them for that.
