Errands later, possibly a doctor's appointment if I can get one. Hopefully he'll just call me something in. I'm swelling, need a water pill, possibly a steroid. My legs are giving me fits.
Oh well, it could always be worse.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Happy Wednesday.

Lily, hope you can get back to sleep. I hate it when my legs act up at night-have to keep moving them around... I am guessing that the change from spring to summer is not helping. Weather has such an effect on health.
Good morning!! I went to bed early last night, slept really good! This is my normal time to get up, 😔 Busy day, work, dentist, run home to get cat to drop off at vet for surgery and try to get DD picked up from work.
Hope you feel better lily.
Hiya Karl!!
Around 3:30ish I went back to sleep. Then I was up again at 5, and at 5:45 Caitlyn got up to get ready for work. So I helped her as much as I could.
I'm worn out already. Going to try for another hour, maybe 2, of sleep.
Hope you get it all done, SB.
Karl, I'm sorry you have leg problems, too. It's a real drag. It's always good to hear from you.

When my legs started giving
me cramps during the night,
a friend, who owns a spa,
told me to get OTC zinc and
magnesium tablets. My Dr.
said it was OK, so I started.
Man, what a difference!
The tablets are as big as
horse pills, so I cut them in
half. Usually two to three
days, and I'm good again.

My dad swears by yellow mustard.
Mine are not cramps. Mine are swelling too tight, joint pain, and that stuff.

I'm waiting on Aaron at the grocery store. We went out for lunch before shopping, now both our stomachs are paying for it.

Getting ready to leave for work *steps out of bedroom into living room*
Right? LOL! I go from my bed to the dining room. Loving getting the extra hour of sleep!!!!!
It's going to suck on the 17th when I go back to the office. Especially because they're going to start running busses again :( Transit sucks. Commute will be about an hr. I'll have to get my Evo account up and running. There are always Evo in my neighbourhood.

I'm gonna hate wearing real clothes! It's just so comfy to work in pajama pants and no bra!!!!!

Long day here. Seems like it was constant non stop. BFF went for a bike ride. Kids are all gone and DS is off on something or another. Now it's quiet. I did phone counseling today.

Icyhot with lidocaine is my new friend. It didn't completely stop all the pain, but it helped.

Have you tried the lidocaine patches? I love them. Only bad thing is they don't stick very good so you either have to tape them down or I sometimes wrap an ace bandage around them. If it's my knee or wrist I usually just use the ace.

I know the doctor is going to start talking replacement of joints at some point, after watching mom and dad go through various replacements, I have a fear now.

My shoulder is not the same since I had it replaced. Always bothers me. Then again, I was not a typical joint replacement. I did not just repair a worn down joint. I totally shattered my arm. Three surgeries and an infection. It was hell. My mom had her shoulder replaced and said she does not have full ROM in it. I don't either.
Those lidocaine patches really help Lily. Like I said though I can never get them to stick good so have a back up plan to stick them on. Especially if you are going to wear them to bed.
