Now Aunt Jemima is going to get a name change and removal of the Aunt picture! I have an old glass container that is the likeness of Aunt Jemima! Guess I should throw it out!

I wonder if it has occurred to anyone that by removing iconic images, they are removing the presence of the black person from every home in the world?

Gone With the Wind has been removed from Netflix, and every other place to watch it. Meaning they removed the performance of the first black woman to win an Oscar. How is that helping? "Work hard, pay your dues, and someday, when you reach the top of your career awards, we'll make it disappear!"

So the white woman, married to the black man, that deleted me responded to another friend of mine. Current friend said removing old statues isn't going to help racism. Former friend said we should not be worshiping racist pigs. Current friend said acknowledging history was not being racist. Former friend went on a rant saying she was a racist piece of **** and scum. Said she was deleting her and her whole family from her FB feed. LOL

This whole movement is going to backfire on blacks. Instead of bolstering them, it appears it's going to wipe them out. It's truly sad when you think about it. But, wiping out history is what they want apparently.

 Yep it is wiping out the shining of accomplishments by people that raised up from great resistance, as I did and many of you did.  It is very sad.

Aunt Jemimah's grandson is a bit peeved by them taking his grandmother's face off the bottle. Thinks it is erasing her accomplishments. Did you know she was the first black female millionaire in this country?

They are racist, they believe blacks can’t do anything without them, they occasionally throw them a bone to make them think they care, but what have they done to help their communities, their schools, black businesses, drug problems, their medical needs.. Trump has given funds to black colleges but does anyone know that? Obama didn’t during his term. Trump was wanting to improve their communities infrastructure, but instead of being Americans first and a party who cares about the black community they spent the past 3 1/2 years trying to take down a president.

Actually, I believe the first black female millionaire was Madame CJ Walker who developed a line of cosmetics and hair care products specifically designed for black women in the mid to late 1800s.
