Can you give a cliff notes? The link won't open for me.

There is good food to be, found. But, nothing famous, that I know of.
Columbus is known for being the home of The Ohio State University. The Columbus Zoo is very nice. It's the state capital. The state fair is held there.
An online petition to change the name of Columbus, Ohio, has gathered over 25,000 signatures after the organizer suggested they borrow an idea from Guy Fieri and call it “Flavortown” instead.
The petition, started by Tyler Woodbridge, comes amid backlash to the city’s public statues of Christopher Columbus, which Mayor Andrew J. Ginther recently described as a representation of “our ugly past.” Across the country, other statues of Christopher Columbus have been torn down, defaced or removed in response to growing criticism over Columbus’ legacy in the Americas.
Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther had also recently announced that a statue of Columbus outside of Columbus City Hall will be removed in favor of “diversity and inclusion.” (Google)
Meh. It's kinda funny in the middle of all that's going on in the world.

Well, my train of thought is . . . this picking and choosing what gets renamed, deleted, removed, whatever the case may be, is just more discrimination and racism. If you're going to do this, you (g) need to go full-tilt! You can't and shouldn't go half way. Let's just burn it all down and rebuild through all inclusiveness with hands from every race, ethnicity, culture, demographic, whatever! Let's do this right!
They want to tun our country into a third world country in which they control, Antifa, blms and The Democrats will be their puppets. I believe majority of the blacks are beginning to see through it.

So someone on our neighborhood page complained of PEOPLE WALKING DOWN THE STREET IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! Who knew this was such an issue. He said the neighborhood was RIFE with opportunity for car-pedestrian accidents. And that he has continually studied the law and knows the right and wrong way to walk down the street. Someone called him petty and I said I've lived here 11 years and there hasn't been a car person accident yet. Seems like we could focus on the more important stuff. He replied that if we could solve this pressing issue maybe we could move onto solving rioting. LOL

All of this is the result of stupid, uneducated people who are easily manipulated through emotions and ginned up "grievances". Getting people angry that they aren't getting something they think they are "entitled" to is the easiest politics of all.

You really cannot fix stupid.
*shakes head*
No. No you can't. Funny thing is I live in a pretty nice neighborhood. People are great. Friendly. A lot of families. Lots of dogs. People walking dogs and babies. We've had a rash of car break in's but other than that the biggest complaint here is misdelivered mail. The speed limit on the streets is 30 but no one does that. There are far too many kids out playing ball and riding bikes to go that fast. You'd really have to be a totally crappy driver or completely unaware to hit a person. People are EVERYWHERE here. A normal person is always watching. BUT this guy knew the law by golly gosh!

How are they walking in the wrong direction? I’ve always been taught that unless there is a side walk, you walk on the left side of the street facing the traffic.
I was taught to ride your bike with traffic but you walk against traffic. I mean there are time people do need to walk on roads if there are no sidewalks.
He was saying that you always walk on the left side of the street. Who knows. Who really cares. Some people were sharing #sharetheshade saying they walk wherever there is the most shade. He was complaining because he has an aggressive dog and doesn't want people walking willy nilly all over the street possibly coming in contact with his dog. That's on you dude.

You were taught the right way, LGS.
Now, when walking on a sidewalk, there is no law, saying you have to walk on the left side.
But, it is the safer way to go. If a car loses control and goes up over the curb, you have more time to get out of the way, if you're facing traffic.
It also gives you more time, if someone tries to abduct you.
Those are both pretty rare cases. In the summer time, I stick to the side with more shade, too.
I was taught to "stay out of the road unless I wanted my butt busted". 😄
