I still have a change jar, it's slower to fill up these days, but I still have one.

We have one as well. We use the change to fill the Easter eggs. We used to put the change into their bank accounts, but now we write a check and re-fill the jar for next year. It doesn't fill up like it used to. DH used to fill it up but even he uses Apple Pay more.

There is also an aluminum shortage. I saw a sign in the grocery store that they may run out of canned soda.

I should throw everyone for a loop and start writing checks again. I'll bet some of these younger cashiers wouldn't know what to do.

Most grocery store cashiers are pretty well trained in how to handle checks. lol Convenience stores are probably a different story.

I just don't understand how there is a coin shortage. How can there be? Who is hoarding them?
