Got in a weird position, and my legs woke me up to tell me they did not like it.

It's still in the mid 70s out there. My little air conditioner is working away. I love this thing.

Hope everyone has a day filled with love.

Bless you all, happy Sunday.

I woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep until 5:30. Then I slept in until 9. This always happens when I eat too much rich foods for dinner. I should learn by now.

I’ve been drinking way too much caffeine. My sleep is wonky. It’s already 90 degrees.

Be careful out there, today.
We have a heat warning - it's
expected to reach 106 by
noon.

Just waiting to "attend" church
via Zoom. Today's technology
is absolutely amazing.

Good morning! It's been a pretty nice start to the morning. Temps have been somewhat cooler after the rains moved out. It was super nice sleeping last night without any need for AC or fans. And there is a nice slight breeze blowing occasionally. Our temp right now is 81* but it doesn't feel it since the humidity is way low, for now.

Been sippin my cuppa and watching the ruby throated hummer come and feed a few times. Got the normal chores done but need to dig in to some other things. Have some houseplants that need repotting, need to clean out the Wrangler, need to run to the store and who knows what else or what will actually get accomplished. lol

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

OMG -- look at the size of that zucchini! Hope it's a good one for you!

Yes, I knew the ruby ones are males. Generally speaking, I think the more colorful the bird means it's a male. He seems to be the only one I see coming to feed. :( I'd love to see more but am happy there's at least one who found the feeders.

Nice squash! How many plants did you plant? I think I may have put too many plants out, but I wanted to have plenty for us.

3 zucchini plants, the all have veggies on them, this one just grew fast. I have cukes, tomatoes, watermelon, peppers, and others.  Everything is doing wonderful.  It's my COVID project.

Sounds great!

I haven't had to buy lettuce in months. I may have to soon, but plan to plant more next month for a fall harvest.

My friend’s guy thought he was being all fancy and picked the zucchini and yellow squash blossoms for a meal. Now they have no veggies, lol.

Classic!

Went to the mall today. First time the boys didn't object, they were ready to go somewhere. Only saw a couple kids with their masks pulled down. Shoe store guy wouldn't let anyone in without one. We had lunch at On The Border and were one of three tables in the whole place. There were a few people in the mall, but not many. Not like it used to be back in the day. A lot of stores were closed, too.

I have slept off and on all day. I'm going to regret it tonight.

The baby woke up at five am this morning. Ack. That's earlier than I usually get up for work. I changed him and gave him a sippy cup and tried to get him to lay down with me but that was a no go. Their mom got here at 11 and he was one cranky little dude. I promptly took a nap. I'm really jealous of all the gardens. Me and Miss Clairol had a chat this evening.
