Go karts are in Pigeon Forge. There are really more outdoor activities in Pigeon Forge than Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg has Ripley's Believe It or. Not, the aquarium, Hill Billy Golf and fun houses. There’s a chair lift that will take you up to a glass walking bridge (for the life of me I can’t remember what it’s called). There’s a back road in Gatlinburg that will take you into an artist community. (The road is called the Glades Road or 321).

Pigeon Forge has Go karts, miniature golf and other outside fun stuff. Theres also several outlet malls in Pigeon Forge. There’s a place called the Island that has a Ferris wheel, Paula Deen's and Margaretaville. There is also the Titanic museum and Alcatraz East. The Old Mill is is a classic restaurant in Pigeon Forge. The meal is served family style.

DD goes to Splash Country every weekend. Mask and temp checks are required to get in. Once in the water park, masks are not required. They are only allowing about 1/3 of the normal capacity.

 Have they opened up the state parks again? 

Cades Cove was closed when mom and dad were up there end of March.

Can you go over the mountain to Cherokee now? That's beautiful drive.

It's too bad the play Into These Hills is closed this season. I think you all would have enjoyed that.

In Cherokee, there is the museum, Oconaluftee village. It's a live museum. I loved it as a kid.

And there's Harrah's. If you want to get your gamble on.

It is. A lot to do in a relatively small area.

But the best thing that we always do, take picnic, find a beautiful spot by the river, and just relax. You'll get amazing pictures, too.
