Renters next door are moving out, and don't want to take both of their cats with them.  One of them, a white and black named Maverick, has been hanging out with my outside cat.  They get along well, and DH has even managed to pet it a little.  He's an indoor/outdoor cat, so that works well with us.  When 24-year old Pepper passed away, DH said he didn't want any more (indoor) cats.  Well, renters are bringing him over later today.  I'm glad I didn't get rid of the litterbox!
