Sonny has been puking the last few days and when I say puking I mean huge pile of digested food.  About 20 piles in the living room and my bedroom.  Brought him to the Vet today. They did xrays of his intestinal track and stomach. Haven't gotten the results yet.  They also gave him an anti nausea shot.  That seems to be working.  Other than that he has been is peppy self and drinking water and eating and loves the walks.

 

Worse news: He has had a heart murmur for a year and on a scale of 1-10 it was a 2, today it is a 4.  At his last annual in March he had lost 1.5 lbs in a year, and since that time 1.25lbs more.  That is 3 lbs on a weight 1 year ago of 23 lbs.  I am loosing him. He is 9.  He seems ok now but all the signs are there. I did get prescribed food from the Vet.  He likes it.

 

Just very upset here.

Awww (((IKWTDS))). I'm so sorry. It's so hard to lose a pet. But, he's had a wonderful forever home and knows how much he's loved.

Thanks everyone. He seems tired but hasn't puked since I took him to the vet. He is tired. I am supposed to go to the beach for a week and I may cut that short. Sonny can't go.

Sending hugs your way, IKWTD. Hope Sonny can be stable for a bit longer. Watching a beloved pet decline is awful.😔

He has soft tissue in his stomach and small wire pieces in his intestine. I assume from licking grill brushes. I tossed mine years ago when I read about the warning on those however DD brings him to various peoples houses.

When I get back from vacation I'm having blood tests done.
