Working away. Worked 13 hours yesterday. Trying to wrap up for vacation.

At least the power is back at the cottage. CT was hit hard by the storm.

Generator guy is here servicing the generator. Got to keep her in shape!

I think a bug bit me on my face. I noticed before dinner last night that my forehead was starting to swell then this morning my eye and part of my left side of the face is swollen. I took benedryl and used zaditor drops. Seems to be getting a little better. I went to the store and the produce man was staring at my eye. Probably wondered if someone beat me up.

Got our bank statement today. DH is funneling 10K a week out of our account.

It's a typical August day here. Sunny, warm breeze, hot, humidity building, might or might not rain. The sky is the palest of baby blue, with fat, fluffy clouds building. I'm betting on a thunderstorm before the day is over.

Caitlyn and Jewel are napping. Caitlyn hasn't had a fever in 24 hours now. She's having trouble with her hormones adjusting since giving birth. She's seeing a doctor. She is on medication, guess what a side effect of both the meds and out of whack hormones are. Yup. Fever. Hopefully, she is getting things balanced.

My brother is visiting, it's been nice so far.

No real plans for today. Thinking Bojangles for dinner. I'm wanting fried chicken without the mess.

not at all but it feels a little numb and puffy. the whole left side of my face feels puffy.

Afternoon, everyone! Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good day. Me too! While it was super busy at work and some new customers came in who used to shop the old Giant and look like they should be at Walmart (please forgive me for saying that but . . . ) it was a pretty good day at work. No one sh!t the floor and nothing broke and no one's car got smashed. Yay for the day!

Just as I was pulling in the parking lot at home, the sky opened up and it poured. It's still pouring now with some lightning and thunder! Sooooo glad to be home! Sippin on a cuppa and listening to the rain and watching for lightning.

Not sure what supper is going to be. I was going to stop for a pizza but didn't. I may make some meatballs and have a meatball sub. Who knows!

Hello from the outback!
Looks like everyone is alive and well. Glad to see that.
Busy life here. The garden has me under water trying to keep up with the produce. Baking zucchini bread today.
Going out with friends tonight. We need a good night out.

I'm glad all is well, in your neck of the woods!

Just finishing up some boiled chicken and rice for Jupiter. Hopefully, it will settle her stomach down.

And, a Vet appointment at 2:30, Sunday afternoon.

Fingers crossed, that she's feeling better by then, and can have all the usual shots.

I've packed the essentials in the car for vaca. Wine, Vodka, Crackers. Cheese and dip and veggies will go in the car tomorrow. Bringing only one nice outfit. Rest are beach bum clothes. So excited. So glad I have to kids to pack up, makes it less stressful and more relaxful.
