Looking forward to seeing Oh4 and G.

Happy road trip!

New sofa being delivered this afternoon. Old is going to my painter's sister's house.
I'll take pics of it later and post.

Safe travels, FWM! I hope you have a blast on the road again!

YAY for new sofa! Can't wait to see the pics.

I've gotten absolutely nothing accomplished today yet. UGH! Had to have the wrangler in first thing this morning. Turns out, one of the wheel censors is bad and can't get it delivered til tomorrow so I'm without my Hippie Chick until then. *sigh* Ran some errands with the one neighbor after that and now going to get the dishes done at least. Maybe a lick and a promise cleaning (swiffer and quick vacuum).

I've asked for a Roomba for Christmas. We have essentials that come every other week, but the floors, especially in the kitchen, can get a little messy in between, even though we remove our shoes. Mostly food crumbs from the boys.

I have a cheap version of a roomba. It's ok. I'd like to try the real deal.

I bought my parents one a couple years ago for Christmas and they love it. Dad had to replace the battery once, but they have it run every day in the basement.

DS lifted my spirits and put up my new bathroom curtain and hardware in the two upstairs bathrooms. I need to steam them and then tie them He is checking off my honey do list quickly. So glad I gave birth to him.

I got dry needled today at therapy. And yes that's a thing. I told him my arm was sore so he took me back and stuck acupuncture needles in my arm until I hurt like a mofo. It's a process where they shove needles into the balled up muscles and manipulate the muscles into "letting go". Then the muscle releases and after some initial soreness there is a lot less pain. I sometimes scream profanities though. I currently have four 2 yo little boys in the daycare. It's absolutely crazy sometimes. A ton of temper tantrums and NO sharing. Which is basically the trademark of the two year old.

I got one, I really like it. The only thing don’t leave any throws dangling on the couch and no strings from blinds. It does help between essential.

That I don’t know since my carpets don’t have any. The need thing is you can get their app and start it from your phone, it will also let you know if it gets stuck somewhere, I only had to rescue it twice and it was a thick shaggy carpet

I have heard they make some models now that empty themselves into a tray, too.

NJN ~
I've never heard of acupuncture
needles going more than 2-3 cells
deep, and certainly not deep enough
to draw blood.

I’ve had dry needling many times. Occasionally they will draw blood.

They don't draw blood.  At least they haven't with me.  They will draw out some interstitial fluid sometimes.  If my muscles are really swollen.  It's very different from acupuncture in that this isn't really meant to make you relax.  It hurts a lot.  It's a sharp pain at first that goes into a dull ache as the muscles release.  Also you can get referral pain.  They might stick a needle in your shoulder and your finger will hurt.  He stuck me in my shoulder and my earlobe hurt.  It's the weirdest feeling.  Like I said it's a sharp pain at first and then it's more of an ache.  You cam feel the muscles releasing.  Unfortunately, it leaves you pretty sore.  Not like acupuncture at all where the goal is to make you relax.  Also, I think acupuncture just goes really surface whereas dry needling goes pretty deep.  They literally stick the needle into a muscle.
