I got to hold the new baby last night! He's so sweet. He cried the whole first night he was home so my DS and I went out there with dinner and let the new parents eat, shower, and nap while we took care of baby. I got to change the first poopy diaper! I brought her some cookies out too. I'm going to make lasagna and sugar cookies and spaghetti for them this weekend. I'll spend the weekend out there. So excited. I love love love being a grandma.
Trudy, I hope GG gets better.

Njn, sounds like your having fun, I’m sorry your having bank problems again TrudyIm glad that your changing banks, doesn’t sound like they have a very good security for their accounts. I hope GG gets to feeling better soon. Hello fnw!
That must be quite a drive. How long does it take you to get there?
It's a little over 1300 miles,(counting stops for fuel and food), from my house to my Mom's.
I can do it in 2 days. This time, I did it in 3, because I went as far as Oh4's the first day. (About 755 miles, in just under 12 hours.)
From there to Cincinnati to visit my sister Trudy. (Around 290 miles. About 5 hours)
And from Cincinnati to Campbell. (About 290 miles, 5 hours.)
Going back, I'm taking my Mom down to Columbus next Friday. Trudy's daughter lives in Dublin. So, Trudy will come up...and we will party some more.
They will get my Mom back to Campbell on Sunday, and I'll head to Des Moines, to see Monica and Jack.
And, Des Moines to Fort Worth, will be the last leg of my trip.
I've already gone over 1500 miles since last Friday. With the running around and visiting up here, by the time I get home, I will have gone close to 4000 miles.
My trip odometer is set. I'll let you know, when I get back.
