Hey geeks! Back from the beach! Vacation was great, too short of course. Now I have to wear a mask all day at work, break alone and get a covid test next week. Yay me. Overkill but whatever.
The bread could have been shaped a little better but it still came out delicious. I'll start soup in a bit.
The neighborhood is having a Halloween parade and have asked that we set up a table at the end of each driveway (if participating) with candy spread out (no bowls) for the kids or do treat bags. #2 came up with the treat bag idea yesterday so that any leftovers we can still have without worrying about germs from little hands all over the candy wrappers.
Yummy for bread, baked pasta, soup and treat bags!! Boo for colonoscopy prep!!
It’s hot here too.
Drank a lot on vacation, lol. Hung out at the pool, sat on the balcony and people watched. Walked on the pier and beach. That’s about it.
Oh, hung out in the condo and cooked.
We're going to try to go to
the lake tomorrow to do
some perch fishing, to re-
stock our pond.
My renter's boss is in ICU ..
yep, Covid. She says she
tested negative last week,
but I sure don't want to be
around her for the next two
weeks. I don't care what
anyone else says - two weeks ..
stay away from me, even with
a mask.
