OMG! The GG scam last night. The Social security office called him said he was passing money off through Austin TX. He was to go to the SS office today and meet the cops. He'd be arrested. THEN the cops call and confirm it. After the day I had yesterday? I said gimme your phone. I look up the SS number- a fake. But the police number is real. I call. I talk to a cop. It is the latest scam and tell everyone I know. He said they are getting tons of calls on that.
He was really nice. Said we don't call to tell you we are going to arrest you. We'll bash down your door and rev up your dog. We laughed way. I said we have a cat. He said we love cats! And we laughed again. Nice cop. Put me at ease.
I get the social security office calls. The Apple drove me crazy one day last year as they called constantly. I finally blew my whistle in their ear. One more time and they were done. Happened again a couple weeks ago and they got the whistle and never called back.
Re the SS call? I waited for a live person and told them they were under arrest for threatening a federal agent. Never called back.
Surgery done and I am home. Not working today. I await the biopsy results. I know what they probably are. Issue that has been on going for nearly 40 years.
The ID scams are getting worse and worse. Glad I recognize them immediately. Mom could too until her last year. She went to a drugstore to buy thousands in iTune gift cards but before checking out she called my bro who told her not to buy them. As you get older and if lost on the latest tech it is easier to be taken advantage of.

Speedy recovery ikwtd, hello Trudy, hope all those scammers are caught soon, hello fwm and fnw. Not much today, just a trip to the cleaners and Walmart
DH left early (7:30 ish) to go to
the lake to catch perch, so we can
go fishing for catfish later in the
week. Called me @ 9:00 - stop
by the taco place, get our breakfast
and come on down - the fish are
BITING ! Half an hour from wake
up call to pick up tacos, and on
the way to join DH.
Wow! He was right! They would hit
the bait as soon as your line hit the
water. We wound up with over 60
good bait size perch. We'll put them
in the trough, with an aerator, and
keep them until we can go after the
catfish, later in the week. Although,
I think we may have to wait, as a blue
norther is expected next Tuesday.
