Depressed over the election and what has become of our country. Other than that, we're good. It's a beautiful day so hopefully we'll get out and enjoy it. I'm having DH put two of our Christmas trees up with lights. I'll decorate them after Thanksgiving but I want to get an early start. I cut branches off my Magnolia tree and decorated the mantel. It looks pretty.
Just spent almost $300 buying some groceries and stocking up on a few things. I feel crazy for doing it but I don’t want to have to go in the stores if our numbers go nuts.
Well, he did promise to get the virus under control on day one.
What an absolutely gorgeous weekend. Man, it's like summer here right now. I have all the windows and doors open. I finally managed to get all my Spring bulbs planted this afternoon. Boy oh boy am I sore. I forget that I'm not some spring chicken any more and totally out of shape! *hangshead* But, it finally is done. Now, I can't wait for Spring to see how many actually pop up! lol
Not sure what's for dinner. I bought some prime rib burgers the other day so I may broil one of them up with a baked potato.
Glad to see everyone is carrying on inspite of the world going crazy!
We're having spaghetti, coleslaw,
salad, garlic bread, and a nice
robust red wine for dinner. I
bought three plates at our fund
raiser, so I don't have to cook
this evening.
HEB and Walmart are rationing
toilet paper and paper towels to
two packages each for any one
transaction. Here we go again.
OMG!! DD has two friends that work at Goodwill. Today one of them was moving a box and a gun went off!!! Talk about being blessed, the bullet hit the floor and stuck. It could have gone so bad. The police came and removed the gun and the clip still had 14 bullets in it. A search of the serial number traced the gun and it wasn’t listed as stolen. Everyone thinks someone accidentally put the gun in a box for donations. The box had come from another goodwill store near Charleston.

Holy moly! It's a miracle someone wasn't hurt, or killed!

How scary! Wow! And it was ****ed and ready to fire! Who does that? Leaves a gun around ready to fire like that? I mean, mine doesn't have a safety, but you have to **** it back before it can fire and it's not easy to do.
