Good morning, my pretties!

Another nice Fall day here. I think I will putter in the garden for a bit. Time to get things cleaned up for winter.

Not much else is happening around here.

How about with you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

I'm good! Early start to the day. Brought dd to school at 5:30 for ROTC drill practice. Picked her up at 7:45 from school for a dental cleaning and had her back to school by 9. Working since.

My work day is going good.

FWM, I've put away the hoses, umbrellas, tossed the dying plants, and turned off the water to the outdoor faucets. And the oak trees are mostly bare now so need to get the yard cleaners to come here. Early for that, usually its end of November.

Overcast here. Worked as usual. Iā€™m in such a rut. My friend just texted me to say her toilet is clogged. Um, thanks?

Overcast and rainy for the last two days. It's tiring.

We brought the sprinklers in and the gutters will be cleaned first week of December.

I joined Parler and MeWe. I'm off Facebook. I check in once a day to respond to messages but that's it.

OMGoodness! DH decided he wanted
fish for dinner, so he delved into the
freezer and found a nice bag of his
catfish, made the breading, heated
the oil in the fry daddy, and cooked
it to perfection! I made the tartar
sauce and the salad. Dinner was
delicious! I served a nice Portuguese
Vinho Verde - nice and delicate, to
complement the tender fish.

btw, for those of you who use
romaine lettuce, make sure to check
the date on it. There was a (voluntary)
recall due to the possibility of salmonella.

I hadn't heard about the recall, momala, thanks. I just finished a bunch I bought at the Wuhan market and it was fine. But I just bought a bunch I got at Giant. So far, so good. I have been buying them "loose" lately. Those packs of three don't last very long. And I see the ones recalled were "packed 10/15 or 10.16". A month later stores should not be selling it anyway. It's no wonder the packaged heads don't last long if they are on shelves a month after packing. Ugh.
