The day before Turkey Day, my pretties!

I'm getting ready to bake my pumpkin pies.

Cate is coming down to play.

Later, I will cut up the bread and veggies for my stuffing. And put the breakfast casserole together for tomorrow morning.

We had a pretty good thunderstorm blow through last night. Small tornado hit Arlington. I don't think anyone got hurt.

Sunny, and cooler today. Sunny and 73 tomorrow. Not bad for the end of November.

That's what's going on here.

Morning! Co worker was 40 minutes late yesterday and then went to breakfast 30 minutes later so I’m taking my break today! It’s the day before a long weekend so it will get crazy this afternoon. My friend wants me to drive out to Cracker Barrel with her after work to pick up tomorrow’s dinner. Traffic is going to be a zoo, it’s halfway to Hilton Head. I hope everyone has a great day!

I take the day before T-day off. I will shower in a bit, then get my car washed, pick up the pies, then come home and set the tables and make the green bean casserole that my father loves. DH is working but promised to run out and pick up lunch for the boys. We'll have leftovers for dinner tonight so that will help.

I'm tired today and my son is acting a fool. The baby is fussy. I need to pick up my check and get covid tested today. Don't want to go but I don't guess they'll bring my check to my house.

Worked 3/4 of a day today. Now off for 3.5 weeks at least.

Went to the pharmacy to get prescriptions my surgeon called in. I must have hit the deductible since it was free.

DS took DD to our fav candy store in Gloucester today. I gave him a list of items I wanted to give as gifts to the various families that will be taking up the slack caring for the dog when I won't be able to.

Thanksgiving shopping is done, way too much food as always. There will be 4 of us. DD, DS, and the GF. Oh and Sonny. We saved the innards for the dog and I will boil them tomorrow. He will love it.

Because my new furniture is still not here, DS got some his furniture from storage and put it in the living room. They were my mother's house. She had then reupholstered Just 2 years prior to passing. The chairs are beautiful.

Game Hens (DH doesn't care
for turkey) stuffing AND
dressing, green bean casserole
gravy, mashed potatoes, and
pecan pie tarts for dessert.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh a quiet day at home to enjoy my turkey and filling and pie.

It's been raining all night with another round expected any minute. Temps are warmer. If the day progresses as planned, it'll be a good day!
