Trudy & FS ~
You're getting the rain we had
yesterday. We're supposed to
get a freeze tonight (31 & 32),
and a hard freeze in the Hill
Country (20's). I might not
get the outdoor Christmas
decorations up this year.
Cold and dreary here today. Been tired all day. Dealt with the crazy mom today. She insists that the diapers I use cause diaper rash. Rolls eyes. He has no diaper rash when he's here. None. She said she used one diaper I sent home and he was all red. I've been using that brand for months and they never said anything. Dad never complained when he was changing his diaper. She wants me to buy another brand.

I used diaper rash cream on the boys after bath and before bed time every night. They never had a rash. I liked the kind that had zinc or something in it. It went on white. I used it proactively.
I used my own homemade concoction
for my elderly, totally incontinent aunt,
when I was taking care of her. Equal
parts anti-fungal cream, bacitracin,
and zinc ointment. In five years,
she NEVER had a diaper rash. The
Visiting Nurses who came weekly
couldn't believe how great her skin
was.
I’m tired 😴 baby’s, a toddler, preschoolers and one8 yr old going on 13 are exhausting and I love them with all my heart. They are going home Saturday and I will miss them.
Sounds like your own daycare, Lindley! Enjoy the time with them. And try to get a little rest in, too.
Thank you, DD and family will be leaving Saturday and I know the house will be a bit to quiet, but I had to put aside my introvert and not worry about a messy (to me) house and it’s worth it. Put up the Christmas tree Saturday and I’m not even going to rearrange the ornaments, but wiLL leave it as is, will put up the rest of the stuff Saturday after they leave, the kids only cared about the Christmas tree.
