I have a meeting in a few minutes to discuss my colleague leaving and his temporary replacement.
I got up early and showered (JIC we use our video for the meeting) and made sourdough pancakes for the boys. After my meeting I plan to get my car washed since I didn't get to it last week. Then my chore today is to thoroughly clean the two crystal chandeliers I have in the entry and hallway. I did the dining room a couple weeks ago and it sparkles. I want the other two to do the same. They are antiques my great aunt picked up when she was in Italy. Her children and grands offered them to me after she passed since we honeymooned in Italy.

How easily can you access the
chandeliers? I clean mine every
3 months, and it is so easy.
Mine are glass, rather than crystal,
but the formula is the same for either.
Fill a large red plastic Solo cup with
equal amounts of sudsy ammonia and
water. Spread newspaper under the
fixture to protect the surface on the
floor. Using an up and down motion,
dunk the crystals in the ammonia
solution, and let them drip dry. No
need to try to dry them. I wash mine
so frequently because I have an open
floor plan, and the crystals get the
"benefit" of the steam and vapors from
the kitchen.
