I'll join that "exciting" club. lol I got up with the best of intentions and then a migraine hit. So, I've accomplished virtually nothing other than dumping some houseplants that died and eating lunch and lounging under the blankets.
It's a chilly day here with the wind whipping around. Just nice to be inside and warm.
Canned a batch of bread & butter
pickles, to give as gifts. Mail
carriers are not supposed to
accept gifts/money, but homemade
seems to be okay. We've treated
our trash collectors well during the
year, with watermelons, and fresh
tomatoes. I make plastic needlepoint
mailboxes during the year, so I can
roll up a 5 or 10 dollar bill, and stuff
it inside.
I finally got around to cleaning the chandeliers. I had to remove the bulbs and to slip the little trays off. There was a thick cover of construction dust on them. I guess it's been awhile since I cleaned them.
I realized today that I have lived in this home the longest in my life. Even longer than the house I grew up in for 13 years. Dirt builds up in places.
Jr. (my Roomba) cleaned the basement carpet for me. It is nice and clean down there now. That little machine does a better job than I do when I use the Miele. I have him set to do two sweeps.
