Starting to see more and more
"outages" and restrictions at the
grocery store. TP and PT are
limited to two per shopping trip;
can't find Lysol Laundry Sanitizer;
I think we're in for a lot of shortages.
DH's great niece, a Nurse Practitioner,
is in quarantine. Her middle daughter
brought Covid home from school, so
they all are homebound. They have all
been healthy, so I hope they only get a
light case of it. They were smart and
stayed home for Thanksgiving.
I have rolled and used the press for flour tortillas. We prefer rolling as I can get them thinner and crispier. I haven't tried corn tortillas yet, but I did buy the corn flour I will need. I will probably use the press for those and try that next time.
If you use the press for flour, what I do is take a gallon sized ziploc baggie and cut off the part that seals, and then run the scissors along both sides, leaving the bottom part attached. That way I can put the dough between the two "flaps" before inserting it into the press. It keeps the dough from sticking. I do that when I roll them, too.
