I have my dough proofing. Will bake it in a few hours. The essentials are here, and I need to run to the ABC store. They don't open until noon now. I guess another COVID fallout.
It's been a chilly day with lots of cloud cover and dampness. I'm already over winter. hahaha
Worked a six-hour sift today from 9 to 3. WOW! What a nut-house it was. And, noisy! I couldn't even hear the music in the store. I'm so glad the day is over. Unfortunately, I have to work 7 to 3 tomorrow. Why didn't I plan for my retirement better? lol
I still have more pizzelles to make and more fudge. I'll tackle some of that tonight and the rest tomorrow. Then, I can relax Christmas eve and enjoy it.
Got my covid vaccine today. I go back to get the second one in three weeks. Didn’t feel a thing. No side effects yet. Hopefully as more people get vaccinated the numbers will start dropping.
I worry more about the next generation. I read where the vaccine can train the body to reject a certain spike which is needed to sustain and grow a placenta. It's also present in male sperm. For those of us past child bearing age, no biggie. But what happens to the fertility of the younger generations?
