Good morning, my pretties! First Monday of the new year!

I got all the decorations down, and put away yesterday. It was sunny and mild, so I even got the outside lights down. Yay!

Cate is coming down to play today.

We're going to be sunny and mild, again. I might start on raking up the leaves in the back yard, since most of them have come down.

Maybe Cate will help me!biggrin

Or, jump in them. Who knows!wink

Other than that, not much going on here. How about you?

Back to work and back to school. Virtual all week to allow for those holiday travelers to quarantine before returning.

I took down the big trees yesterday. There are a few wintery things still up, and the boys' trees. #2 wanted to extend it to the 12 days of Christmas. He said his room needed a little holiday cheer.

Our timing was perfect!

Just got back from doing our
grocery shopping, including
a case of water, which is too
heavy for me to lift, and hard
for DH to carry up the stairs.
Our renter was just leaving,
and he immediately came
over to see if we needed any
help. He carried the water
up & put it on the stand where
we store it, and then went back
down & carried in the rest of our
groceries. It's great to have good
neighbors!

Came home from work, let cat out. DD came home and went to leave a few minutes later and let cat in. Then I just let cat out. Sigh...

We still have all our decorations up. I need to take them down. I'm back from MO. Got introduced as the fiancée this time. Everyone was really nice. His SIL started this weird thing with me sing we got engaged. It's a little competition between the girls and the guys. Not sure I understand it to be nice. DF says it's about bonding. She would say something about the guys and then high five me. I felt like I was back in high school. Strange. But back to work today. My nursing job is already calling me. They want me back to work. I'm really ready though. I need to make some money.
