Warmish today but windy and a little rainy.
I haven’t done much of anything today. Went to the grocery store first thing.
Tried napping but people kept calling and texting. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

We got a couple inches of snow. I made turkey soup. A lot of soup.

I'll take some of that soup. lol

I put a beef roast in the crockpot as I had the day off from work. Yay me. I made some asparagus with it. Soooooo good.

The snow started just before noon. So far, we've gotten maybe two or three inches. The bulk of it, up to 18+", is supposed to come tomorrow along with winds of 50mph or more. I'm scheduled to work only 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. but got a call around half an hour ago that we're not opening the store until 9 a.m. so I wonder if I'm only going to have two hours of work or will they keep me. If I'm only getting two hours, it's certainly not worth my effort to clean off the Jeep and head in. UGH!

It sure looks so pretty out there with the snow hanging on the trees. It's also so much quieter with the blanket of snow. Life is good, despite all the covid and political nonsense.

Enjoy your evening and stay safe. Be careful if you're venturing out.

Yes, I got a new one that makes better shaped loaves.  My old one went to Goodwill.  It made tall loaves rather than long loaves, if that makes sense.

It's a Secura. Never heard of it before, but I found it on Amazon and the loaf shape looked better. It still comes out a big larger than store bought bread, but it's at least loaf shaped and not tower shaped.
