and I'm playing hooky from work. biggrin Our final total, what's been measured on my deck, is 21 inches. And, the second round, which dumped the majority of that 21 inches, is heavier. UGH! It's going to take me hours to dig out. But, coffee first. I'm nice and snuggy in the apartment. Do I really want to go out there? hahaha At least our maintenance buy used the snowblower aside of my Jeep on the driver's side so I can get to it.

Not much else going on for me today. I'll be sore for a week after shoveling all this.

Not a good time to be without heat, Lindley! Yikes! I hope they fix it soon. Do you have a fireplace or space heaters at all? Electric blankets?

It's still snowing here. I think we got about 3 inches maybe so far. I went for a walk in it. It was so pretty. I love it when it's still on the tree branches.

Our upstairs heat work, but not downstairs, so family room, kitchen, basically the living area is really cold, so our bedroom is where I curl up, but cooking, washing is terribly uncomfortable. We are using our gas fireplace , but it is more for ambiance than heat, my husband bought a space heater, but it doesn’t put out hardly any heat, supposed to be the best they have, but Im Not impressed.  Im going to my sons place to watch the kids and that helps.    Hopefully they will fix it before the week end, supposed to be in the teens Sunday.

looked up your bread machine on Amazon, does it come with a recipe book?  It has good reviews.

Well, honestly, there were five of us working on them. lol I'm not really all that nice. I knocked on two people's doors three different times to get them out so we could help them but they never came out so they're not dug out. It'll take them a few hours since they're totally plowed in now. If they don't shovel and take someone's spot, there will be hell to pay. hahahaha

It did have some recipes in it, but I use ones I find on-line and haven't tried theirs yet.

When my heat went out years ago I turned on the fan and directed the space heater towards the intake panel in the foyer.  It helped.

Keep an eye on them though.  Mine ended up shutting down because it overheated.

I'm late to the party, today!

My bad!wink

I still can't believe that chubby rodent in Nobbler's Nob, saw his shadow today! I call BS on that! Really, Phil? Really?furious

We took Jupie to the Vet to get her blood work done. Just checking to make sure her medicine isn't having any ill effects. Her blood work was fine! That's a relief.

We also got Shop Cat's ashes back. cry

And, more Rx canned food for Jack.

($1200, in less than a week. LOL! We bought someone a boat, over the years, at that place.)

On the bright side, at least the news was good today. I shouldn't complain. And, I do love our Vets.smile

I've got a dilled pot roast cooking. With sour cream gravy. (I'll make the gravy at the end.)

Lindley, I hate it for you. Stay warm, as best you can. I hope the furnace parts come in early.

Okay, back to my dinner.

FS, talk to management. Get them to number the parking spaces, and assign them. If some lazy jack-wagon, takes one, that doesn't belong to him...have them towed.

No way, should some lazy POS, take a spot, that you cleared of snow. No way, no how! They should be towed, JMHO.

Back in New Jersey, one of
the smartest purchases I ever
made was a gas-powered,
electric-start snow blower.
Steep driveway was 2-cars wide,
and about 200' long. I would
open the garage, start the snow
blower, and make one pass down
to the street. By this time,
wonderful next-door neighbor
came running through the snow,
and took over for me. His pay?
That I would let him use the blower
to clean off his driveway! Win-win
situation! I almost packed that blower
in the travel trailer when we moved to
Texas, but when I looked at the snow
history for San Antonio, it wasn't
worth taking up the space.
