Happy Friday!

Cate is coming down to play. Maybe we'll bake some oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips!

Off the hook for dinner. The kids will forage.

Not much else is going on here.

How about you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

Had an interesting breakfast.
Tried "Just add an egg", and
its actually pretty good. If you
use medium eggs, you need to
use 2; only one egg if large or
jumbo (which I use). There
are 4 varieties; nice to have
around for when I'm feeling
lazy.

Just waiting around to go to
physical therapy. Dull, gray,
and overcast; high supposed
to get to mid 60's. Spring is
slow coming, this year.

Sunny here. The snow is melting. I booked a trip to Florida for spring break. We're going to live on the edge.

My brother, niece, and her boyfriend are coming out in August. My mother is over the moon. They haven't been here in 11 years. Apparently she is photographing her friend's wedding in VA, about an hour away and asked if she could visit and/or stay. As if she had to ask. LOL

Hi everyone!
Enjoying a nice day here. Have to appreciate it while it lasts. It’s 24 degrees out there and Monday our high will be -1..🧊
DH and I got the carpets cleaned this week. Used to be a two day job, now it takes us four..😢 Moving all the furniture kills us anymore. Our house while be overwhelmed with company in a few weeks so I’m doing spring cleaning early, which will be a stupid idea by next week lol.
Not much else for news. We are all good here and I’m glad this site is still active.🥰

Well, I was offered a full time nursing position so I'm going back to nursing full time. Kind of looking forward to it and kind of dreading it. But I need the money with the wedding and buying a new home.

YEE HAWWWW!

You know how people have
to keep hitting re-dial when
they are trying to sign up
for the Covid vaccine?

I got through on the first
try! Not for an appointment,
but to be added to the wait
list. At least it is the first
step.

Yay!! It’s so odd how all the states are handling the sign ups differently.
My MIL and SIL (she’s a caretaker) just got their 2nd shot. SIL, 54, had terrible side effects. MIL, 76, had zero side effects.

SB, is SIL petite? Most of the people I know who have had terrible side effects are smallish. The meatier people seem to do much better.

The bennies SUCK!  We have no healthcare.  Just a discount plan.  20% whatever doctor you go to.  They offer a "plan" so that's how they get around it.  It's always sucked.  When I worked there 12 years ago they sucked.  Luckily I got a really good plan on the marketplace.  I kind of lucked into it and it's costing me a pretty penny but it's a good plan and I'm going to keep it till the end of the year until I get married.  In January I'll be eligible for his teacher retirement insurance.  So that's the plan as of now.  It's where I'm at now but I've never been full time there.  Always PRN.  Now I'll be eligible for PTO.  Plus, I'll have dependable days and hours.  Looking forward to a steady stream of income.  Need to get my direct deposit paperwork done!
