Beautiful day here. Clouds moving in now. Expecting rain tomorrow. Worked a full shift today. Remember earlier in the week I said I waited on a guy at self scans and he gave me $50 for doing it? Well, he was in the store again today in a regular checkout that was backed up so I asked if I could check him out in self scans. He agreed and again, gave me another $50 for doing it. Holy crap. I tried to refuse but he insisted and said the store manager gave him permission to do it. lol I made an extra $100 this week. I'm forever grateful.
Just got back in from trying to teach DGS how to parallel park. Oy vey! Remind me again why I quit smoking. I sure needed one after two hours of that. He's not even a good street driver. But, he said he'd much rather learn with me because I don't yell at him like his mom and dad do. lol
So, I haven't eaten most of the day so I'm trying to figure out what I can have that won't be too heavy since it's much later than I usually eat. Maybe some eggs.
I got the 2nd Moderma shot
yesterday, and boy did it hit
me! Sore arm, but that's OK.
But when I went to bed, I was
shivering so much that it woke
DH up. Had 2 extra blankets
on my side of the bed, but I
was still freezing. DH finally
heated up a microwave hot
pack, put it on my tummy,
and curled around me, but
it still took over 3 hours to
get to sleep. Hope it is
better tonight.

Wayne got his second shot of Pfizer, on Tuesday.Â
He got up Wednesday, feeling fine, went to work.
Around noon, he started feeling sick to his stomach. Achy. Chills. He gutted it out.
Came home, and asked me if he could take an Advil.
No, not unless you are in dire condition. Gut it out. So, he did.Â
After a good nights sleep, Wayne felt better, in the morning.
A few hours of feeling like crap, was probably worth it. I guess.Â
My father did well and suffered no side effects after his second pfizer dose. He was one of the lucky few. FIL did well after moderna, too. His wife got pretty sick for a couple days.
