Good morning. I'm not here often anymore. I'm sure most of you are glad about that. I don't get much time off and adjusting from nights back to days when I do is next to impossible. I had a wonderful three days off including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I spent ALL day Saturday at the grand baby's house. My daughter let me break the sleeping rules and hold him and rock him to sleep and let him sleep on my chest. I almost cried. He's six months old now and sitting up on his own. Trying to so hard to crawl. It's such a bittersweet time. I love watching him grow and get bigger and have more personality and do things but I also just want to sweep him up in my arms and hold him like a newborn again. I miss those days. So happy and so sad to see him growing. Things with DF are going wonderfully. We're going to to apply for our home loan next month and really start looking at houses. Finally my forever home. I talk to ex sporadically. He remarried awhile ago and is still very angry at me. Not sure why when he left me. I try to be civil but he's very moody. One day he's fine and the next day he hates the world. Oh well. Life is pretty good here. I can't complain too much. Ya'll have a splendid day.

Since we are going to Choke Canyon
(reservoir) for our 9th anniversary on
Wednesday, we started fishing for
perch this morning. Caught 40 from
11:30 - 1:00, then came in to rest.
Back out at 5:30, and caught another
20, so we should have enough for 8-10
trot lines, including using chicken hearts,
and cut carp. We'll go to the steak house
in town for dinner - DH likes their grilled
quail, and I like their chicken fried rib eye.
