Good luck with the jab! Today is my niece's 21st birthday. And our pool is opening! The boys returned to school. They will be in person 4 days a week now! That makes me happy and them as well!
Keep trying. Try first thing every morning. I got lucky a few times and was able to schedule mine, DH's, and both my parents. You have to hit it just right. Check pharmacies, too. Expand your search radius.
Spent all day yesterday getting poked and prodded. When they were working on me two months ago when I had the TIA, they heard a heart murmur, so they set me up for a PET scan and an echo cardiogram with bubble. Had to leave the house at 5:45 a.m. to get to the hospital by 7:30 check-in. And of course nothing to eat or drink since midnight.
The echo wasn't too bad, but they had a hard time finding a viable vein. The PET had me in an uncomfortable position, but that only lasted for half an hour. And then it was hurry up and wait, for the doctor to study the results.
DH was wonderful - he had a bottle of icy cold water and a chicken salad sandwich waiting for me in the car, which I promptly gobbled down (the food, not the car ! ).

Was so nice and warm yesterday, so I and the kiddos spent a lot of time outside and today it’s snowing and 34 degrees, I guess we will lose all the pretty blossoms 😢. Another thing, our heater isn’t working again, I believe it’s the thermostat. I’m not to happy. Luckily I don’t babysit on Tuesdays so at least I don’t have to worry about the kids.
