🎂Happy birthday Cate!🎂
Last night was bad. I was chilling out watching a show when DD came home and said there were police and an ambulance next door. It’s really not odd because they are always up to some type of drama. She stood at the door and watched a few minutes and they wheeled out the man that owns the dog that attacked DD last summer. I was thinking it was a heart attack or something.
DD shut the door and her phone started blowing up with texts from the people that live right behind the next door neighbors and her friend right around the corner. Her dad is a fire investigator and they have a scanner. She was telling DD a female was deceased in the house. DD opens the front door and the coroner’s van is pulling up. So apparently they overdosed and I’m guessing the other roommate either came home and found them or it happened while he was there.
We didn’t like them very much but never wished anything bad on them. The roommate is nice but we usually just wave if we are outside at the same time.
The boys had their math exemption test today at the high school. If they pass, they will get to take 10th grade math next year in 8th grade. They thought it was pretty easy.
Not much else going on. DH's stone still hasn't passed. He's not too bad. Napping right now. I think I'll join him. We were up late and up early to get the boys to their test. I think we'll go to dinner tonight at Founding Farmers. They have never been. It was one of the last places I had lunch at before the lockdowns.
We have a farm to table nearby, like 45 minutes. You have to have reservations. Even then you usually wait an hour for your table. We need more restaurants!
FNW ~ Is that a farm-to-table restaurant? I'd love to try one some time.
Yes, inspired by Monticello, so there are a lot of stuff about Thomas Jefferson on the walls. There are several locations in the DMV and one in King of Prussia in PA.
