No masks. Two women are wearing them and a few staff members running around masked up, but not me. And there are snacks and drinks, so there's that. They need to serve alcohol. When they ask for my review, I'll let them know about that.
Rainy day here. Nothing new going on here.
Getting my 5,00 mile service tomorrow. They don’t have snacks. I think there’s a keurig. The Toyota service center in Savannah has hot dogs and popcorn.
They are in the process of adding a cafe to our BMW dealership. Still, I miss the speed and convenience of Jiffy Lube. That's where I used to take the mom bomb.
A cafe would be lovely. This dealership is on the edge of town. Nothing is out there unless you want to dart across a 4 lane highway to get a roller dog from a gas station. It’s a really sad waiting area too. There are some benches outside. I usually sit there and chat with other people.
My rear end is tired from all
the driving I've had to do today.
Had to leave super early (7:00)
to drive 125+ miles for a funeral -
and the pews were packed so
close to each other that you couldn't
stand up straight to move in or out.
It was for the SO of one of DH's nieces.
They lived together for more than 25
years, had 3 children together, but
never married. She threw him out
about 8 years ago because he was
drinking himself to death.
Went through torrential rain on the
way down. Hard enough that the
truckers were driving 15 mph below
the posted speed limit. That's when
you KNOW it is raining! Happily,
full sunshine on the way home.
