Good morning, Good Geeks!

I got my walk in. Cate is coming down to play.

Waiting for the fence guys to come back to finish up. One more steel post to set, and fix the sprinkler line that they accidentally broke.

And, The Tennis starts today! Yay!wink

Other than that, maybe I'll do a load or two of laundry, and call it good.

How about you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

Almost 500 emails to sort through!

Went to the Library, and got on one
of their computers. My "computer guru"
is still recovering from Covid, so I don't
know how long I'll be able to catch up
with everything.

All is well with us - just super busy.

Cheers !

Afternoon!! Typical Monday. Hot out.
I hope you all are having a good day!!
Work is crazy, we have had a temp agency person and she’s wearing me out. They pay these people big bucks. I could have trained a brand new person quicker!! Every day is like her first day!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
4 more weeks….

I was 11 when I got mine. They were off by freshman year of high school. They sure do things differently now.

Interesting. With the boys, it's all about spacers. #1 wore this contraption in his mouth for a couple years that kept a couple teeth from moving so others could grow in. Trying to pull as few as possible. I got 6 yanked out and my brother had 8 removed. They try not to do that anymore.

I had braces at 50, lol. It was called 6 month smile. They were white, barely noticeable. Didn’t need them as a kid. I’m a tongue thruster so I pushed my teeth out of alignment. Now I have a permanent retainer on my top teeth. I honestly don’t even notice it.

I was a tongue thruster, too. My dentist "taught" me how to swallow before he would put braces on me. Trudy, get your mind out of the gutter! LOL He gave me a pack of tinny rubber bands. The kind used on braces. I was to insert it on the tip of my tongue and press it to the roof of my mouth. He tapped on the area in my mouth where my tongue should go. I was to do this for a period of time each day to train myself until it became automatic, particularly when swallowing, which is when it would thrust, pushing my teeth into an overbite.

Now if I could only stop myself from grinding my teeth.....
