Yesterday I got a mani/pedi. Other than that, I rested and got chores done. Played basketball with the boys after dinner. Today I'll get the pool and yard ready for a pool party tomorrow. I hope the weather warms a little. It has been pretty cool since the storm came through. I suspect summer is over already.
Worked a few hours this morning. I went downtown for a bagel on my way home….. people everywhere!! The bagel shop was packed so I left, I would have taken me at least 40 minutes to get a toasted bagel. So glad the tourists will be leaving!!
5:30 pm - my computer Guru just left.
My computer is now fixed for at least a
year. After 15 years, I'm almost due for
a new one. My Guru will take a day and
go shopping with me - probably either Best
Buy or via the internet when I'm ready for
a new one. She'll do the figures on whether
to spend more up front and not have to pay
so much for toner cartridges during the year,
or even go via WalMart and buy one of their
$20 printers whenever the toner runs out.
Currently, my black costs $32, and color is
$42, and I always have the quality set on "draft".
She never, ever charges me for a house call -
I guess I'm her "community service" project!
But I make up for it in other ways. Today she
left with two fresh watermelons, Monterey Jack
cheese for her quesedillas, and the ingredients
for her dessert tonight - Angel Food Lemon
Bars.
