Unplanned day off. DS woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. Fever is gone now but I called him out of school as a precaution.
He gets random fevers like I did when I was a kid. My pediatrician never figured out why. DS' pediatrician doesn't have any answers either. Ah well, he'll eventually grow out of it.

funeral of one of DH's friends
from when he was a youngster.
Large turnout, and we were the
only ones wearing masks. Yes,
we've both been vaccinated, but
why take any chances.
Most people here are wearing masks again. Our numbers are way too high. I have a family member in Ga that has covid. She’s fully vaccinated. She’s a nurse.
Her O2 sats were 96 yesterday. Not too awful. She’s glad she had the vaccine, her symptoms aren’t too bad compared to others without the jab. She works in a hospital and a nursing home. No telling where she got it. I know they are very strict on masks and the home makes them test weekly.
